Why Halo Is Awesome

Halo's a pretty sweet game. People just hate it because they hear about it all the time and it annoys them.

I never liked Halo. I've played all three plus the other crap that came out. I just never really got into it, I don't see what the fanboys are all excited about.

Its because most of us play pc games, when xbox first came out, they had halo, it gave them a good online experience, thats what people enjoyed, the first good online console experience. We just play better things, and now that technology has progessed, and halo's hasn't we notice it isn't as good.

Phantasy Star Online wasn't a good online experience? DreamCast was the first major online gaming system....
The original Halo didn't even have support for Xbox Live, everything had to be done through lan. (Pretty sure)

Um...No. There are plenty of Xbox Live games for the original Xbox.

Because Halo was released before Xbox Live, online multiplayer games were not officially supported. The game instead uses local Ethernet or "system-link" that supports a maximum of sixteen players.

So I only see one reason.... Online anything else.............................no ok besides the halo 3 match making sucks monkey balls hard I rather play my Gears of war.

Halo is an ok game, i'm fine letting people like it, i'd just like to know why you'd like it more then Gears Of Half Life.

ah i see i have to agree with what my brother said halo is a good game online but there are so many better games
