Yes, Mario and Luigi are simple SS sprites put into a charsheet. Ignore the checkers, just set it to 'move animation' and itll look fine.

I'm think that that tournament idea is pretty neat.
In Legend Retold, a game of mine for rmxp, there was a torunament where you fight all the rtp main characters(arshes and stuff), which your idea reminded me of.

Yeah, I know. Midi's are just a few kilobytes. WAVES, .ogg's and mp3's are all
in megabytes. They're simply too big. If I took out all the non-midi music from
my game, it would be around 6 or 7 mb.

Sorry for double-post but this is important. I need 3 people who would be willing
to be "Beta Testers" for my game. That means that I will e-mail you the demo
and you have to play it and tell me wether it's okay before I post it here.

To qualify, you must:

1. not be shy about giving criticism
2. be willing to explore EVERYTHING in the game
3. be able to play my game without it crashing.

The first 3 people to post saying they meet the qualifications will get the job.

yeah...damnit. oh, in the demo...this is a problem i always have with Near's ABS, i cant attack enemies! i press space and nothing happens >.<

edit: wow, do i feel stupid. ok, so...maybe you should change what the dad says from being "press space to attack" to being "press Q to attack"
