importing problem with battle sprites and field sprites

When I import them they have square boxes around them!

Does RM2K3 allow you to choose transparent colours when you import?  That's probably all you need to do.

Yep. Just click the area around the sprite sheet to tell the program what color you wish to be transparent.

i had like the sm prob  there right just cliq the background nd ur prob should disapear i found this out when i played rmxp
