Where is a patch for this?

The grass is from setting your display settings to nice. If you just have green, then you probably have it set to normal or fast.

Which in actuality is the way to go really, unless you're playing on a gamer computer.

And uh, patch?

When you run it it'll look for and download the patch for you =)

Yeah, the second time I ran it, it updated itself.  I am on a gamer comp, and I set it to nicer, and set everything as high as I could, and still the grass eludes me

1) is it Mac friendly?
2) if not, what Direct X does it use?

2) 9? But my card is DX 8.1 and it runs fine. It ran on my old geforce 4 MX 440 too, which is a DX7 card.

I wish I had grass    I have all the highest settings, 4x anti alaising, and still none of the pwetty gwass.

What graphics card do you have?

The grass probably uses a pixel shader version that your card doesn't support. EG Mine is a Ti4200 and it only has Pixel Shader 1.1 support.

I dunno, but I figure I should tell you this before you do what I did and waste a day of your life trying to figure it out:

CUSTOM MUSIC FOR TRACK MANIA NATIONS (and probably United too)

1. FIND OGG FILES
2. NAVIGATE TO THIS FOLDER (based on you installing into the default directory)

- C:\Program Files\TrackMania Nations ESWC\GameData\Skins\Stadium\Music\Race

3. COPY PASTE OGGS IN. FEEL FREE TO DELETE THE OLD CRAP YOU DONT WANT.
4. PLAY TRACKMANIA AND ENJOY YOUR CUSTOM SOUNDTRACK.

(I'm gonna see if I can replace the engine and horn sounds tomorrow. )
