rpg maker 2k3 ally recruitment system

anyway im using 2k3 because it rocks

but i was wondering how do you properly use switches to recruit people and send them to your base

like the suikoden style recruitment where you recruit blacksmiths and the likes to join you

so if some one could help id be very grateful

Oh boy...best I can say for this is to make a separate switch for each recruit, set them all to 0ff at the start of the game, and then turn each one one as they're recruited.

There may be a better way, though...not sure.

sorry if i wasnt clear i mean who do you use switches what should be in the switches you use to recruit them?
