a ghost and a spaceship!

hey every1 i tried making sprites from scratch for the first time. i decided to make a sad ghost. im still working on it and i havent tested it yet to see if it walks good but i want to know what you think of it as a first sprite that i have made. some of the edges may need to be worked out on it and the shading. and the back and maybe the frontview may need work

plz give advice and anyone is allowed to use it or edit it to make it better but plz rate this ghost first.

edit: heres the version that wont make the ghost transparent and i made the shadow  and the ghost look a little better

Well, I was a monster spriter once....
Now I am retired.

My suggestion is don't correct your first sprite ever !
Leave it as it it and make another sprite, move on. Otherwise you won't get better at it.
