    • You don't need a grid. You just need to make it 4x4 and make sure all the boxes are the same size. You shouldn't get a grid or else the .png will be too big or too small.

    • Mastermoo is right. Just make sure it's all in the right places. Try exporting an RTP monster, then creating the new sprite over it.
