I'm new here and I'm new on the RPG maker stuff.
Kind noob on these things but... :(
How can i make a script work? I am just opening the script menu, putting a name on the new script and adding the code?
Something other...How can i make a prelude on my story.
Something like staring the game and the camera moves in a big castle, then the camera shows a king moving right-left,something like this without showing the hero or walking on any event to activate it.
Or showing a house and letters come saying in the ancient time...blah-blah...and then the game begins.   :-\
 That's all   :bean:

You have the right process for adding a script.  Making it work is a whole other process ;)

For your other question, do a search for Cutscene - I think there are a couple of tutorials around on those.  I think you can do it without going into scripts.
Always remember you're unique.
Just like everybody else.

cutscenes can be done with eventing
and yes, that is the basic way to insert a script, but some scripts may require configuration on your part
(normally, there are instructions telling you how)
