Fishing?

I know there is a way to make it so you can "fish". All I can think of now is going up to water and pressing action. Anybody know a way for like an animation? Or any other ideas/ways?

the last script on this link is a fishing mini game it should do fine

I recommend the Fishing II personally.

Also, they say you can do that by using random variables.
Sorry, but I have no clue whatsoever about that.

Variables. XD Anyways, here we go. Play it through to read the important information that it gives and also play it through to see how it looks for the person. For an animation, I don't know what you mean. You'd need spritesets if you want to do it like in Pokemon.

I hope I actually did something you were looking for >_>

Er there are a few errors in the Fishing Demo, I fixed a few but its still a little bugged...

When you talk to the treasure chest to get the rod, If you don't talk to it from the left side you can't get the rod because your character moves... Also when you get the rod and talk to the water nothing happens.

Hey I fixed your fishing demo...its pretty simple really, but thnx i might use something like that...
