I am trying to use Blizzard's ABS script http://z3.invisionfree.com/ChaosProject/index.php?showtopic=378,
but when I try to start the game it says:
"Script 'Sprite_Character' line 45: TypeError occurred. cannot convert nil into String"
The line is: "self.bitmap = RPG::Cache.character(@character.character_name,"

Anyone know how to fix this?

This should be in Scripts.

Anyway, I'm not familiar with BlizzABS, but it works for me when I just started it. Do any of your characters not have a spritesheet? Do you have animation_id on one of your characters set to on when you don't have an animation spritesheet for him?

I think it has to do with the enemies... Whenever I take the enemies out it works. But when I put them in I get the error.

Upload a demo please.

If you don't want to share your game file then set up a mock project mimicing everything you are doing in your real game project and upload that.

dling now. I will get back to you.

Um, you have to give me more than the image. Upload the entire file

So instead of just Game.exe

Give me the folder that it's in.

umm...

Yeah, it is because the ghost has a switch condition I think. I am going to bring this to Blizzard's attention.

by the way, he'd probably prefer to provide support directly so I'll link you to his forum.

I asked the question in the topic there with all the relevant details. Here is a link:
