How do you make it so the screen slowly fades in and out between transitions and things like that. Especially in events.

Well, you can use Change Screen Color Tone. Just change it to black with a specified number of frames and it will take that long to fade the screen. Keep in mind that it's frames, not seconds. Normally, it can run between 20 FPS to 40 FPS (if you have smooth turned on) so keep that in mind. You can check your FPS by pressing F2 in test play

Set the time higher. It's default at 20 Frames but you can go up to 200 Frames I think.

i also have a questio that is in the same vein, to fade, i tried using change screen tone,  however, some pieces of the tiileset, as well as my character still shows up, how do i make them disappear?

lol i feel like such a noob, it only happened once, but i only assumed it was a natural problem and didnt test it again,  sorry i'll see to it in the future, thanks for the help >.<
