As title says, i'm trying out rm2k3 for a while, and i must say that it's actually pretty nice.

But i see that you can make many things in the tilesets, though i simply can't build a regular house,
like in Final Fantasy I & II.

So if someone could make a quick step-by-step tutorial i would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance,
gameo

Well:

World map = For world map

Town = Don't use it yet, mainly because this topic is here.

Indoor = Pretty tough to make walls, but i've tried and i'll get the hang of it.

Ship = No use as of now.

For the houses are you using the default Tileset that came with RPG Maker 2003?

;D I just use the lower and upper stone tiles in any of the chipsets. If you use them well enough then you can make it look like a house...It's not to difficult...
Now if you mean making them as fancy as the FF games, then you might try to download some chipsets from a good resource site. If you want FF style houses, you can find a lot of FF chipsets on Charas-project.net. Just go to "Complete resource" --> chip set, and take a look at what you want.

Hope this post helped ya out a little. :blizj:
