So I ran a search on this forums if this topic is already resolved, no results came.  ;9

My question is: Exactly how many frames are there in one second?  ???

Zeriab

40 Frames per second during Smooth Mode
Otherwise it's 20 Frames per second

Wait in events are normalized to 20 frames per second.

Kokowam

What's smooth mode? XD Also, I thought the frames in a second were based on the speed of your computer.

Zeriab

Open a game and press F1. ;)
If a scene requires too much processing power then the frames per second will go down as well as the generally speed. I.e. wait in events and similar are also affected.

Kokowam

Ohhh, so it changes by itself? That's cool. I didn't think it like that. :P

Wow, thanks. I never even knew about that F1 thing.  ;D

I take this topic has been [RESOLVED] ;)

Wait, but is it impossible to have it change depending on whether or not a person is using Smooth Mode?

Most people probably know about Smooth mode already(I think). If not, then I'll go tell them all one by one. <--just kidding. :)

It would require some scripting, but it is definitely possible ^_^
Scripting it might cause lots of issues though.
