Question on Custom Sprites

Using RMXP for the field sprites, I have seen screen shots of RO sprites being used. I have full sprites [about 120 cells per sprite], and after hours of editing the sells to be on one sprite sheet I try to upload but it isn't alligned right.

The top part of the screen shows the sprite below the waist, and the bottom shows the sprite above the waist.
