Monster encounters on the world map (RM2k3)

I have a large world map, but I obviously can't use the same monster groups the entire
game.

What can I do to make it so the player faces some monsters in one area of the map and another set in another area?

Click create new area.

Yeah create new area then you can choose whatever monster groups you want in any specific area....try overlapping them
