Here's one, it was used in the civil war. It's a way to hang someone if you don't have a gallows. You tie the rope, and set them up on a horse. Then, yuo get that horse going, eventually the victim swings forward and back, being killed even faster than a regular hanging, due to the added effect of the momentum from the horse.

I don't quite understand that. They would be sitting on the horse...and...? lol. I'm lost.

And, this is why I don't watch the news (often). Even reading those quotes/newspaper articles made me feel sick to my stomach (which brings up a question. Why do people say they're sick to their stomach? Where else would you get sick, your kneecap?). Anyways, I think a lot of those people deserve life in jail. Especially if they take someone else's life, or like...decrease their quality of life (?).

OOH! I just remembered a REALLY vicious one! IT's from the dark ages, it involves more beasts of burden tied to rope.

You take four horses (or something equally fast/powerful) and tie a rope around each of their abdomens respectively. Then, you tie a horse to a guys arms and legs (one rope per limb), and set the animals off running. Guy is torn APART. The term for this is, "Drawn and Quartered."

Seriously, I don't think hurting someone because they've done something bad is the right answer. They should be punished (scolded?)...but not in a physical way (hanging, crazy horse tying..stuff..). It's just like hitting your child because they don't listen. I don't see how that would make things better, other than maybe have your child scared of you (or angry at you), and it might just make matters worse.

And the guy who killed the baby...that is just sick and twisted. Of course a baby is going to get more attention than you, without it the baby can't live, whereas you can. Some people... -shakes fist-

That is called quartering and yes, the body would die after having its limbs torn off.

An eight-year-old boy was raped twice and sexually abused by a boy four years older, a court heard on Monday.

Liverpool Crown Court was also told the 12-year-old forced the boy to have sex with an eight-year-old girl.

I like the fact that story was so sloppily put together that there is mention of an 8 year old boy... then a mention of an 8 year old girl. Completely confusing me. The 12 year old boy was probably raped himself and conditioned for sexual habbits by others.
