No they aren't, smash moves are also charged up A attacks, and C-stick attacks.

Special moves = B attacks

same diff to me right now...

so it's like Peach's Down+X floating ability, just not completely horizontal...hope they kept that.  I don't use peach very often but it helps to float back to the stage.

lol I hate fighting metal bros...luigi almost always makes it back to the stage whenever I fight him.  Although it is very entertaining when he uses it when he's within grabbing reach of the platform and it backfires and he shoots too far...

Obviously, he said he loved using the characters with swords.

Either way; I think it is funny to get Samus and just jump around the metal enemies and pound on them, cause they are too slow to hit her.

well compared to others here, probably.  But I have never had hours on hand to play, I only get like half an hour every two or so days, which is very insufficient time to get better.  And no I do not suck just because I use swords.  I can at least take out a lvl 5 with both Link and Marth.  I've been trying to get more time to play but it's very hard to achieve...

Swords are awesome, they allow for melee with distance.  And Link is just that awesome, so   You might not like the sword guys, but hey, different characters for different players and different likes.  I like swords and I like using Link because he's so versatile.

It might also help if I could get a good full-screen program that will read from the PCI card...I can only play through Windows Movie Maker's tiny video-capture screen which is the size of my palm (actually just slightly smaller)
