[RESOLVED] Battle Events? RMXP Help please.

I am trying to make it so I add a character in a battle.

Here is what I have:

Event pg. 1: Trigger=hero hp < 50% (set to activate on trigger)
Guy joins and says  "I knew you'd need my help"
then it activates the "person joins" event

event pg 2: trigger="person joins" event on (set to activate on trigger)
Nothing happens

yet every turn he says "I knew you'd need my help"

How do I fix this? It's in battle don't forget.

erase the event switch after he joins.

And I won't have to do it again after that during the battle?

the problem you have here, is that when the person comes in the characters HP is STILL under 50, if you want it  so the guy comes in ONCE when you are under 50 then have it turn the switch off after he joins.

How do I do that?

well you have a switch turn on when the characters health is under 50% right? then in the new event have it turn the same switch off after your character added to party command.

Oh okay, that makes sense, I'll try it.

No, I don't have a switch turn on, just activate an event, it goes straight to an event...no switch.

then use erase event command.
