    • My coumputer (not this one) is stuck at Display resolution 640×480 or something like that and 16 colors... when I try to change it, they just snap back to 640×480×16colors. =(

    I don't think it is a virus because it has never been connected to the internet. I don't know why It won't let me change the settings.  ;9

    If your video card driver crashes but windows manages to survive it, it'll use that legacy 640x480@16bpp mode.

    Could the second part, the part about the crashing, be caused by a large surge of electricity, going through it?

    My dad tried to hook up my computer and put the power cord into the wront place... fried the computer, but it was fine until a little while ago...  ;9
