I think (This is in my view) that mods would dislike you for sucking up to them... 

I'm not sure how I got most of my rep...
Either people actually like me () or someone keeps clicking the wrong +

I got around 10% of my rep from the Icon Shop earlier in my days and I got about 95% of it from DS. The rest is just there from people who may have liked me.
