Help with skills

i made a skill and i put it in a new skillsubset.....and it cost like 8 mp...but when  i gointo battle......its darkened

In the skills tab when you press F9, make sure "Occasion" is not set to 'never' or 'only from menu'.

If that doesn't work, save some time by posting everything pertaining to this where we can skip a few posts of asking you to post stuff.  To take a picture of the screen pres "Alt + Sys RQ."  SysRq is above insert on ur keyboard, unless you have a Macintosh.

The only way anyone can help is if someone posts some more information, because I don't think the occasion thing would cause this, because then it only shows up in where its allowed I beleive.

show a screenshot ofd the skill in the database please. That way I can see if the problem has to do with the way you set it up.

EDIT:
And also, it might be that teleport is not an in-battle type of spell (I haven't used 2k3 for a long long time). Another problem I can imagine is that there is no set target area for the teleport.
