Star Ocean 1 & 2 being remade for PSP

I'm a huge fan of these games. All I need now is a PSP.
They are also making Star Ocean 4 but there isn't much information about it. Hopefully it won't be as disappionting as SO3.

Cool! I love Star Ocean 1. My friend has a PSP and he never uses it, so I can get it.
And Star Ocean 4? Neat! I kinda liked SO3...

Star Ocean 3 was alright. I just think they shouldn't have changed the skill and item creation system.
I'm pretty excited about the SO1 remake. They are going to change the battle system to match up with the one in Star Ocean 2. They haven't shown what changes they made to SO2.

AWESOME! i tried playing star ocean one for the SNES...emulator style tho....didnt go well considering it was in japanese
this is cool though, the PSP needs some good rpgs...

eh psp rpg's are lame. all the ones I downloaded got deleted after 5 mins of playing. Now I just use mine to play super mario 64 and such

Star Ocean 1 is to be remade. They've updated the graphics a bit (Looks like a PS1 game) and changed the battle system. I don't know about Star Ocean 2 there aren't any screenshots of it..

Star Ocean 3 was great, cept for the lack of voice actiing half way through the game.........and the over-exaggerated screaming..

Star Ocean 3 was good. It reminded me of a PC rpg more than a console one, which was kind of refreshing. It still doesn't even come close to the awesomeness that was The Second Story though.

It'll be soooo nice to have a version of Star Ocean 1 that doesn't crash frequently. 


And it always kind of annoys me when people complain about over acting when screaming. Have you ever been in a situation where people have screamed like that in real life? It's kinda hard to nail something like that, give them a break.

But they screamed alot in that game you have to admit. Like when i think back on that game. I realise it was amazing i'd give it like a nine outta ten. I also remember that one person who was with nell who had that really shitty voice actor who sounded realy homo-sexual.

Just be glad its not like Ocelot's gathering call for MGS3. That has to be the most embarassing sound I've ever heard in a game.

Hah! Ocelot always makes me laugh. Part of me wonders what they were thinking when they made liquid live through his arm. That was probably the dumbest idea i've ever heard.
