just listened to all of DrSword's stuff from his soundcloud... Gotta say, while they aren't the best thing I've ever heard I still really like most of them.

That inn theme just hurts me, though...
Ok, DON'T EXPECT HELP FROM ME~! I will perhaps rant a bit, but don't expect me to do graphics for you, even if I say I will... I won't.

Their timing is off in both of them. And there are some wrong notes in the main theme.
That too, but I've always loved the main theme and the percussion worked for me.
it's like a metaphor or something i don't know

someone can't take a joke

My inner-Mr. Pedant also wouldn't really call that a criticism, given that it was more or less your unsolicited opinion. A criticism should be an analytic review of a piece, not just a promotion or denunciation of it.

i had given my full thoughts on his soundcloud. For some reason, however, I could have sworn I put something about the warbling here too... but... whatever.

Here's a really boring shitty piano rendition of inn music then, no warble ;)

Anyone ever hear of a band called Astral Projection? I recently found them on youtube and have fallen for their sound. I'm a very big fan of the lounge/tech music, so I went searching and found them, among some others. Not sure if that type of music is even called 'lounge' though. Anyway, in particularly, this song is one of the best, I think.

Astral Projection - Mahadeva 2010 (Salvador Ali Remix)

The original piece is pretty good too, but I think the remix makes it even better.

Anyone else share an interest in this type of music? If so, I would love to see what you suggest or think. I'm always opening to more music!  :D

I suppose I can't let a weird electronic music conversation go by without posting this:

@Malson:
I like that, very quirky and upbeat. I knew a part of it sounded familiar, had a piece of Prince's Kiss at 2:21. :P

Astral Projection - Ten Minutes to Sunset

Well, like I said, I have fallen for their sound. This song sounds like it would be in a dance club, one stationed in Europe for sure. Or maybe featured in a scene of a sci-fi battle scene? Not the best they have (that I know of) but definitely a good beat to listen to.

So hard to find these types of songs. *sigh*

Not related, but the quote is "King of the north," not "King in the north."

This song is so sad. I think I first heard it in Cruel Intentions, but then again, my mind is very foggy, so I could be wrong. It has been one of my favorites since I was just a kid. Its a shame I don't listen to this song more...gotta remember to do just that.  :P

@Holk:
It is but one of the many titles Robb Stark goes by in the series, like "King of the Trident". See here and here from 1:10 onward. Or page 796:

"MY LORDS!" he shouted, his voice booming off the rafters. "Here is what I say to these two kings!" He spat. " Renly Baratheon is nothing to me, nor Stannis neither. Why should they rule over me and mine, from some flowery seat in Highgarden or Dorne? What do they know of the Wall or the wolfswood or the barrows of the First Men? Even their gods are wrong. The Others take the Lannisters too, I've had a bellyful of them." He reached back over his shoulder and drew his immense two-handed greatsword. "Why shouldn't we rule ourselves again? It was the dragons we married, and the dragons are all dead!" He pointed at Robb with the blade. "There sits the only king I mean to bow my knee to, m'lords," he thundered. "The King in the North!"
