It all depends... have you created any previous games? Do you fully understand how to map and events and so on? It's always best to learn as much as you can about the basics before starting a project.

Lastly, do you feel motivated to start it and finish it?

Oh well, it all depends man, I saw some of your screen shots and as Modern Algebra said,"You could use a little work on your mapping skills. Starting a new game would be a major stretch if you cant properly grasp they idea of mapping. You know like tile placement and so on.

It's a good thing you went to Nouman for help since he is our best mapper here not to metion the kindest person on this forum. He can teach you many thing when it comes to the RPG Maker.

As for making a new game, Im not sure if you have used RPG Maker prior to this demo, but atleast you understand how to start a map and a game. I would suggest going into the Tutorials section and reading up on as many as possible and testing what you have learn every so often.

I know you probably had good intentions with your game but its always best to be prepared when I comes to an actually working on a project.

So if you want to start a new game and learn new stuff as you go I can only say you will be frustrated having to go back and change somethings if they are wrong. If you want to wait before making a new game and starting well equiped with knowledge of RPG Maker then go ahead. It's all up to you.

I agree 100%.  I hardly opened RPG Maker XP before I found this forum.  I didn't understand anything.  The tutorials is a great place to start, also if you haven't already I'd sign up to be Noumans mapping student.  Assuming he can handle more students, he's probably up to about 12 or so now. Definitely a major help.
