silver, that's another point of his. The rpgmakers don't get noticed enough or noticed at all if they do not spam. Darklord has spamed little and is an eliet rpgmaker and helps soooo much around the rpgmaker sections and he isn't credited.

I don't go in the rpg maker sections because I don't use RPG Maker.

Why would they need to spam? Just normal posts in the general section.

Looks that way... But he does have a point...

I see many people on here doing small bits and bobs... But nothing like the older days rate of growth, but I guess that's cuz people are getting fed up with making things for people then once they have them they leave...

I have made LOADS of sprite requests in the past, now I make sprites only for my own use and post them here if others want to use them they can...

We need a Finished Resource section or a Resource request area open to members with a good rating, I hate making things for people who will never show up again...  Or even a Resource Shop, that the makers of Resources could have their PayPal buttons in or some thing, so people can donate if they wish ?...

If we had some thing like that I would get my own WEB space and do nothing but make Tunes, Sprites, Battlers, Backgrounds, Titles, Gameovers, Sound effects... the whole lot... If each member could add a PayPal link for any help given may be more of it would happen...

I could be talking about the impossible... I often have moments of madness and tangent ramblings... But I know I would part with a couple of Quid for a Tutorial by Nouman if I was a NOOB... or a Midi by Silver for a battle... ETC.... Blah Blah... You get then idea... Nothing in this world should be free.

I don't think he's leaving because he isn't getting attention. I think he's leaving because this forum doesn't have much of an emphasis on RM. Like he said, only two mods use RM. I think what los suggested is actually a pretty good idea. Some kind of thing like Extra Access but for the RM section would be nice.
