his is one of my first posts in this Forum, so I would like to thank the oportunity to be a part of this great community, and I would like to thank anyone for making this into a great community. It's an honor and a pleasure to be among you.

Now, for the hard part. My problem.

I'm starting an RPG with some friends of mine, and I've reached a problem. I've got RPG Maker 2000 1.06 with the two RTP's. The thing is, when I write a message in the message boxes, part of it doesn't appear on screen. Usually when the message is to big, part of it will always appear off screen. I've used the Font Patch but the problem still occurs, part of the message is always obscured or cut out of the message box. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Thank you all

Sadly, the only thing you CAN do is to try to cut it at a certain point. Don't write until the end of the box, keep experimenting to find the right spot, and type until there.

You could always use message commands to auto-close message boxes if you want text continued without hero intervention.

In 2k3 the message boxes hold 50 characters without a face and 38 with. I haven't used 2000 in a while but I'm fairly certain it's the same. If not, just type in 1234567890 several times and see where the cutoff points are.
