Inspiration

What do you do to get inspired to do something in a game (such as what inspires you to make a certain map or character.) Just think it might be interesting to know what you guys find inspires you to use RPGMaker.

I usually get inspired from just playing Rpg's.  Whether they be from here, or on a game system.  There's always something that you see that you say either : "I can make blah that looks better than that."  or  "Wow, I wish I could make something that looks that good." So I usually try.
