Thanks. Coloring every one was a long pain in the ass, but I knew it would be worth it.

they all have the white boxes around them, and i really dont wana go through and make all of them transparent......and ive tried the coloring thing in the rmxp when you import and it doesnt work....well i dont know how to use....can someone tell me.

Alls you have to do is highlight them all. Then select the background as the transparent color. Then just keep hitting ok.

Can anyone make a attacking and defending char sheet for theif one of this?

Yeah, I made sure they were the same color, because different soldiers of different armies were becoming a pain for me in my game.

I need attacking, defending, and skill using for

• mage 8
• mage 2
• cleric 6
• cleric 1
• fighter 3
• fighter 8

its for my abs, and i need them.

Eh, what exactly do these attacking/defending sprites look like so I can use it as a template.

*off topic* kai u think we should open a sprite makeing/ recoloring shop?

Mage

• Attack=sideways swing with a staff
• Defend=Orange Energy Sheild

Cleric

• Attack=Sideways swing with a rod
• Defend=rod up in diagnal covering face

Fighter

• Attack=sideways with a sword
• Putting up a shield with a Orange Lining

Just like a normal one, but instead it goes through the swing or defend cycle
and i can name it appropietly....
It wouldnt be that hard to make....i'd do it, but im nto good with pixelated things...

Many of your sprites have white backgrounds, and when you try importing them in and you select white as transparent bits of the sprite go see-through... In your re-colour pack try Theif03 (the White one and see what I mean)

But other than that your sprites rock...

To get around this:-

If your using photoshop

1. import the Base sprite (File open and locate the sprite)
2. Once open go to Image (top of screen, tool bar) then Mode and chage the sprite to RGB
(You will now be able to create multiple layers and so fourth.)
3. On the Painting tool bar (thats normally on the left of the screen) select the pipett
4. Pick the colour on your sprite you wish to change
5. Go to Image on the top tool bar and select Adjustments and replace colour
6. Play with the bars on all 3 light settings (Shadows, Highlights etc)
7. Once done go to Layers and Merge VISABLE (So the Background stays checkerd
8. Then save the Image as a PNG file

Yeah, we use char maker 1999, so it's all good. I'll fix that bug when i have the time.

Theyve all been added and theyve all worked and imported well. And I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! 72+ SPRITES?! IMPOSSIBLE!!!  !!!  !!!

Surprisingly enough, only about an hour an a half, or a little more. But it was well worth it. I should be releasing a new villager set soon, that includes recolors and slight edits to the character's appearance.

just asking, but do you guys re-color tilesets?

I notice we have you guys, and the icon team as well...you guys could really release a new version of the RTP that would be re-colored and new icons. =D

I Do Agree With Nouman in that...

But I don't think they can recolor a Tileset seeing as they use Paint (Well, Yukimora actually) It would be Really hard to Edit tile sets if they use Paint =/

A recolour of the RTP woud be very cool and unique

Well, if you saw my previous posts, you would know I use Char. Maker and I am the one who created the Recolors Pack (excluding some of the Special edits). A map recolor actually sounds pretty good. I'll get to work on it ASAP.... and I'm back



I don't know if it looks good or not, but let me know.

I did a small re-color of the castle interior once, I never finished it but if you go on with this I will finish it, all I did was use photoshop brushes..

KWL. I want the castle tileset 

<3 the re-color just maybe a little less bright orange and its a perfect fall look! also we wont need to edit all because as you see now its a FALL tileset, maybe jsut edit the ones with theme's like the castle was red now mine is a green castle, but changing seasons is also a great idea =D

Yeah, that was a quickie, just to test. I'd really add some auburns and reds with the browns in there.

i'm on board for it then (representing the 'icon shop')

tho, it may be a little easier and faster if we did this over summer (during college, i tend to do more school work than Icon work  )   But that's just if we do it. and i do think it would be a cool idea too.

i could recolor... i do have photoshop but hate useing it to edit sprite... for some reason it makes it much harder(i do know how to use it) but i like paint for editing...

Nope Irga...they did a Character Shop, but they closed it because of the Stress.

The colors don't blend to well, but it looks great.

Sp all need to edit a few of these is Photoshop and use Brush...hmm.

yea, open two versions, color one then use transparency on the other one and drag it over.

alright open the file TWICE.

see on the right the table is colored green, this is done using brush tool. then use the cut selection tool as I did on the left one and select the top of the table you want to get rid of. then push DELETE. Now drag the Whole left side to teh right side, what this will do is overlap the part of the table you just cut out to the part you colored. making the table perfectly green.

Yeah, i"m at my grandpa's right now (he doesnt have RPG Maker....obviously) but if somebody could give me all the civillian sprites, I could recolor them to make another villager set.
