I need help with maps

this may sound stupid, but how do you go from one map to another? i have 2 maps, but how can i get my character to walk from one to another? details please

Okay, i know how to transfer my character to another map, but now i cant get the character to go back, or go from map 2 to map 3.
help please?

Create another teleport event to teleport back, to go back. To proceed, make a teleport event that will go to another map.

i did that and it still wouldnt work. its bc i forgot to change the action to player touch. ive got it now tho

And because it's on player touch, make sure the event doesn't teleport you on the other event or you'll be stuck in a loop.

actually I don't think that would matter. teleporting over another touch event wont trigger it.
