Walking overwalls...

Could someone please tell me why my character can walk over EVERYTHING on my RPG Maker XP?  I'm not sure how to take screenshots, so I'll just explain what's happening.  I place walls and other objects on the aprroriate layers, then when i start the game I walk over them.

EDIT:
I figured out what the problem is.  All my data in the tilesets is corrupted, so could someone please supply a screenshot of what Castle In is supposed to look like normally?
