transparent sprites

yes i dunno how to make sprites transparent i used the search button and i dont get it. + when i put trees down there are black bits around it. Please help thanks.

its all with the import.
when you download charsets/tilesets you need to go and import them in the software to get rid of the colors.

click F10 and go to characters, then click import. Locate file and you should see what to do from there. Just click on the color you don't want.
