heres the scenerio.....

you ask the bartender for the key to the basement he gives it to you
you go downstairs your friend dies and  then i teleport back up stairs never able to go downstairs again now i talk the bartender again but this time he says something different and gives me the key to leave the city

how do i make it so he says somethinbg different when i come up? i already have the never going down the stairs again part i just need to know how to do that.

Switches. Basically, after the basement event, make a switch turn on. Make a new page on the bartender that activates when said switch is on and put on whatever it is you want him to say there.
