Stupid quick time player! (help)

So I installed quicktime or something accidently and removed it. Well now I can't play a stupid song on the internet using Windows Media Player. I keep getting this.

How do I set Media Player as my default player?

Find a file of the type you want to play, save it to your desktop.

Right click, say Open with...

Click the checkbox that says always open with this program.

Pick the prog and open.
