Keep on Baggin'
Kinda noobish questions today, but here goes..

first of all, in rpg maker 2k/3 you could have boats where you give them a sprite, and the game convienently remembers where you left them and stuff/the music changes when you ride them..  I could probally easily duplicate them with events and stuff, but still, i was wondering if xp had them tucked away somewhere..

secondly, in 2k3 you could assign certain footstep sounds to certain terrains.  Can ya do that in xp?  In the tileset menu you can change the terrain number, but I don't even see a menu to edit the terrains themselves.. :o

anyway, thanks

PS in 2k3 you could make an event "below" or "above" your hero.  Are "phasing" and "always on top" just fancy talk for that?

With the boats I really don't know.
But with the footsteps you have to do it all with events.
