Alright so for the past month I've put in work on this RPG in RPG Maker 2003, I had A LOT of it done, tons of scripted events, and so forth.

So I was going to send it out to a buddy of mine to test for me so far, and so I "Created a Gamedisk" and sent it. Then I installed the game disk on my computer, to see how it worked, you know? (normally I would just hit the "test game" button), so I played for a bit, then went back to edit some things on the RPG Maker, when I went to hit "test game" it said "A fatal error has occured that prevented your game from opening" or something along those lines. So I shut out the RPG Maker and opened it back up, now my game is gone. Totally. I have the actual like, game file, the playable one, but I don't have the editable one.

Obviously i'm pissed, so my question, what happened to my game? Where did it go? I looked in the trash folder, not there, I dunno what happened. Is thier any way I can turn my playable game file into an editable one? What can I do? Or am I basically screwed?
