CD R no work (lol pun)

I stick my Unreal Anthology cd in the D drive and it doesnt even know theirs a CD in their, it knows other discs are inside her though (lol more puns)

It depends on the drive, my dvd drive can read cds.

My DVD drive can read CDs, and it used to be able to burn them too, but now every time I try to burn CDs in it, it gets most of the way through and gets an error. So, I just installed an old CD drive that works. Now I have 2 disc drives.

I should get an external dvd burner. I got my comp about 2 1/2 years ago and i didn't want to spend an extra 50 or so bucks on a dvd drive that can burn. I regret that choice now.
