here's a shot of it with the menu status open. its not complete, but it's comming out nicely. aluxes (or arshes) is just helping me test out the menu lol.

part of the problem, is that it does go horizontal (which IS correct), however, for some reason it doesn't shift everything over...

the main menu is now complete (it doesn't do anything when you select the choices, but that's because I still have to script the other scenes, anywho, screenies)

Your menu system looks AWESOME.  My only comment: "View and manipulate" is an unusual phrase... most people don't say manipulate... but whatever.  Maybe you could go with "View and organize" or something.

I'd say that using "sort" or "organize" would work fine for describing/using/dropping items.

The title music is kind of creepy-sounding.  It's really... eerie.  Like spooky stuff is gonna happen.

Whoa! Very nice menu system!! I mean VERY nice!! And the battle system looks awesome also!  Really neat stuff !! And that picture of your character Midori doesn't look half bad either. The short hair does create the illusion that she's a guy though.
