I think the main point of the topic is to focus on how one race or gender gets away with one thing that the other can't, I think the first post outlines that every one has some slight biggitry in them.

And I think now more than ever that its getting more apparant with the War on terror, some people automtically think Musslim = Terrorist, I know if I got on a Bus with a Muslim wearing a back pack I would sit as far away as I could from them... And I am not racist, its just the view the media has put in our heads.

One thing that really annoys me I got called a Guetellia when I was walking into town by two teen indian girls walking the oppersite direction, and they started laughing, they said it right to my face.  I remembered the word and asked my mate Rajesh what it ment he told me it means Dirty White Monkey in short... I don't like the fact they can freely use their own language in the country that gives them shelter, they should learn English and at least try and fit into / or accept our customs, I mean this year our town had no Xmas lights as it offends some religions.

I agree with what I THINK he was trying to say. That they don't have to earn English, and force us to conform to their needs. That's not what the U.S. is about. The U.S. is not a five star hotel for a random immigrant. It's a place of work. Yes, the land of opportunity, give us your weak/poor etc. I agree with the 100%. However, this doesn't mean you get to sit on your hands while we do the work, you have to help. And NO I don't mean like making cars or selling groceries or being an accountant. I mean assimilate. I am more angry at our goverment for letting people come into the country with no skills that they can offer to our economy, and then say its in our best interests to have people here to fill jobs English people would not do... School, Uni and college leavers have to start some place... now they will be paid minimum wage as we can pay a Polish person less... I don't see how that helps things, its almost Slavery... But the Polish love it... I dunno twisted world...

Alright, I agree that immigrants (and domestics) should definitely work, but I quite frankly don't see the problem with them forming exclaves. If they all assimilated totally, they wouldn't contribute to our culture as much.

Perhaps you should get the facts straight. The point made was more then valid. Arrow claimed I shouldn't be posting up my thoughts with out hard evidence to back them up, but in a different thread he claimed to believe in Psychic power. Something that has, quite frankly, no proof at all. His two thoughts conflicted and I used it as the situation fit.

I agree that for some time women and men will NOT be equal, but that's some sad POV to think that it will never change. Sure it may take a few hundred years but we will ALL be equal at some point in our cultural evolution.

But at the point that we all TRUELY don't have any personal predigests or hate, would we really be that different then machines? I think hate, is part of what makes us "human".

The jobs say training Nurses would normally do in the NHS are being taken up by main Somlians... The cooking jobs in Pubs and hospitals are being taken up by Euro workers... Many building contractors again are Euro workers...

There is a fair amount of work in the UK, but small Jobs that students would normally have like bar work, Table waiting, Cleaning, shelf stacking and factory work is all being sucked up...

Me myself I have had a few Jobs, While at school I worked packing Porno mags, After I left school, while at College I worked for Anglian Windows selling Glass, After College I got a job in Sign making, using a CAD CAM Machine (I Studied BTEC in Information Tech) Brilliant Job only cuz of lack of work I had to get another job, so I started work as a Graphics designer for a Promotional company on Apple Mac's (Back then I had a Power Mac)... I got borred of Promtional work so went to work as a Tattooist and body piercer, that was great until I got Death threats and other tattooists wanting to smash my hands... So I choose to lay low for a bit and worked as a Prep Centre Admin Clerk for The Carshop... I HATED IT... So I left after a few years and now I work in Information Tech for a debt recovery company, my main area is ANPR (Auto Number plate Recognition)... I look after the Collectors and the mobile side of the business and support the call centre's computers, it's a very good Job, I sit my Micro Soft Cert next year (Starting after I finish my Citrix course).

But if I was a School leaver now I doubt I would have had such an easy start... Seriously the wage now offered for most youngsters Sucks... I wouldn't really want to work for the little they get.

Well, I personally can't comment on the British situation, but there are similar complaints in America. It's rather unfounded, job competition isn't that bad here. We can handle more immigrants working low-wage jobs, it's not going to starve any Americans.

I too am heavily fascinated by Hindi gods, if you know much about them perhaps you can correct my story as I think I have it incorrect: Genesh was the son of a Sultan who dressed up as peasants and stole from the people, he was caught and, with out realising it was his son, the Sultan beheaded him, after the beheading he just realised what he had done and quickly told his men to find a replacement head, all they could get in time was a Elephants... Much can be learnt from people from different parts of the world, they have different views, I like England having a mixed community, but I don't like feeling alienated in my home country.  The walk into town I have to walk down the Kettering Road its about a mile and a half.  I don't hear ONE English convosation, all the houses are terrist houses and rented... The Ratio in Northampton for forign folk is one of the highest in England.
