Yes, sometimes when im posting, i just think of it. I dont know you, you dont know me. You know Nightwolf, and i Know say Blizzard,Halo, Nouman, Los etc. We know nothing, that profile thing may be totally wrong, (the factfile) as some ppl may lie, to make others feel theyre great.
Like for fun, once i lied, i have yellow eyes lol, but thats not true lol, i actually have dark black eyes.

And then i feel, Am i going to stay in this forum till i die?
I cant explain it, i just feel that one day this may not remain, maybe its tommorrow, maybe next year.
When i grow up, or you grow up-

Will Any Of you Remember Me or would you forget about Nightwolf, about The whole Rmrk Community?

(does not apply to Fu/Halo theyre above 20, they dont got anything exept their jobs , their life, but we got school and all...friends etc...lol)

Blizzard

I would say every community will go down someday. RMRK will most probably get corrupted someday like hbgames.org. This will be the moment when I leave. I don't think I'll post here until I'm 60, lol!

Who knows. The future is uncertain at best. I like it here, and I plan on being here untill I stop liking it here.

Nightwolf

Im not gonna stop even if this place goes in the dumps.
I stopped at heights and now its no more.

So who'll remember me?

Nightwolf

im not depressed or feeling down if no-one remembers me.
Im trying to spread the message if this community will stay, its members will stay.

Ppl just jump into a flame.

hmmm maybe when the forum loses popularity due to perhaps another game making thing, then it wud die. but eventually people will leave for good. but they might remember it one day

:)

I am here to save the forums...Call me savior. (yes I'm kidding)

but isn't this the reason we have the member profile list thing? ( I ment factfile)

and I don't believe the forums will die. I still hope to be here for at least 2 more years.  ;8
Watch out for: HaloOfTheSun

Moss.

When I post I imagine myself being a 21 year old guy posting on a forum with a bunch of 50 year old pedophiles.

It won't use popularity, at least not anytime soon. At least, I hope not.

It will  happen sadly. It happened to Japanation, a huge community, and the Administrators shut down the forums because it got 'to big' to handle. It's now just straight porn. Shame.

I find a nice board and they shut it down on me... Basterds...

I don't plan on not paying for or shutting down RMRK at all =o. Also remember that even though I do alot of stuff and indeed host/pay for it, the site is still ultimately belongs to Crankeye. If I dropped out, he'd (or I'd expect him to) continue it or find another worthy person =o

So if this place does go down, if wont be for a while, or until Silverline drops out and Crankeye can't find anyone.

I found this post very intelectually stimulating as it really is a good question. There is a high-chance posibility that lots of us will one day quit the place. The site could simply go down. We may lose interest. We may not have that much time. We may feel like other things are more important than spending couple of minutes on a forum. We may die. I'm new here but I'm a forumer for a long time, now. Back from when first forums looked like irc chat rather than a forum, so I partly grew spending time with all kind of people from all around the world, and lived to see many forums dying, sharing things with forumers from there and also, unfortunately, dealing with deaths and diseases of fellow members. Whatever happens, I will not forget about anyone.

I don't really care too much. I'd like to believe I still use RPG Maker, but the truth is I really don't care too much for it anymore. Therefore, I'm nothing but an active member here because of the people. And I'd probably forget a good portion of you, but a few of you will never be forgotten. You know who you are.

GilgameshRO

One of those people is me. In case anyone was wondering.

I don't see that as any reason to be less involved here. I haven't touched RPG Maker for nearly two years now, and after I dropped it, I became more involved in the place. It always feels weird whenever I get asked about RPG Maker related stuff and I'm like : lol I have no idea: and they're like "but.. you're an admin?"

I can't see any reason at all why I'd "drop out", either. If I actually got a life ( :P ) I'd be less active, but I'd still keep this place up. RMRK isn't the only thing I run on my server. It's ironic that RMRK uses more resources and gets more pageviews in a month than all the other sites and stuff on here would in a year, but RMRK is a 99% loss on money though my other sites on here pay for it all entirely =o

Arrow

Same here. And I don't think there's really an age limit. It's really just a super fancy telehone in the end.
