RMXP textbox legibility

Hey, I need help with the fonts. Or I think it's a font problem, I'm new to this. I just downloaded RMXP, but when I open it and try to start a new project, the letters in the textboxes are all garbled, overlapping eachother and the like. I tried dowloading the patch (even though I didn't figure it would work) but it did nothing. I even tried deleting the program and redownloading it, but again, nothing.

I'm wondering if it's because I'm on Windows 98, and that the XP in the name means Windows XP, but can anyone help? :roll:

I have some issues with mine.... the Message text box on mine has a little Black triangle above it, If I type passed that then the text does not appear in the window... also the renaming of the Charicters does not give any text... So I just name them before hand in the Database....

The reason for this is your downloading a Copy, no doubt a hack Jap Version... there are many out there, and some are better than others...

I live in Engalnd, I don't ow a Credit card, so I have no way of purchasing the original... I guess you have to make do... with a SUB efficent Maker tool if you aint paying for it !!!

I don't know if the XP means you can only use it in WinXP, but why not download the software from the site you're on (www.crankeye.com)? That version should work perfectly. All you need is right there in the Download section.

Thanks y'all, but I can't see that any of that would be a problem.

I did download it from this site, and the only thing on that requirments list that I MIGHT not have is the ram, but that wouldn't effect textboxes, would it?

Another thing, actually. I've noticed the same problem on several Japanese websites I've been on, so it might be my acual computer. Any techies know what might be the cause?

The Version you have is a CRACKED JAP version, and not all the English fonts are there.... and the ones that are, are a bonus... LOL...

Make a quick one screnn game talk to some one, so the text box comes up, press print screen, save the image, loaded it up to photobucket... then post a link here so we can see the exact problem, just encase I am talking from my rectum...LOL
