Sure, perspectives are different. Fine. However, murder is still murder. Does it make murder OK if I say 'Oh, well I'm just a freedom fighter.'? Saddam did plenty of that. Also, Columbus  was a dick, there's a reason he was removed as leader of his colony.

Apparently, there are many ways to view this.

The first, the peaceful equaltarianist's view, is that all killing is murder and is wrong.

The second, most common view in america, is that if it is justified, then it isn't killing. So say... Self Defense. However, this would put the U.S.A. in the catergory of murderers, because we initiated the war. However, others could say that we are now defending against insurgents, which is stupid because its only and endless cycle of violence.

The third view, the sadist's view, is that killing is great and we should all die in an orgy of blood.
