Help im a stupid n00b

For some reason when i test my game i can walk through walls. Is it just that iv pressed soething so i can do that or is it that im just a stupid n00b. :cry:

Yea that just recently happened to me with a building so I copy-pasted another building I made before, and changed it a bit and it was perfectly fine...

Thats a good idea but its in a ship so its a bit harder to do.

I see.. Well.. Maybe you can set the things to not be allowed to be walked on in the database thing? I hope that made sense.. im really tired...

I'm not really sure then. Put your game on a file sharing thing and I can try to fix it.. im kinda a noob but obviously nobody else is here to help lol also, your avatar is humumgonormous! maybe you should make it smaller? lol

When you say file share do you mean through the web site or somthin or do you meansome other way?

Through a website yes. compress the folder with everything in it and then upload it to a file sharing website. and send the link.

holding down ctrl while test playing is a normal cause of why you go through walls, or around the ship you will hav to put solid objects that no1 can go through, not even on testplay

umm.. no. in the picture hes all the way up a wall.. and he said he didnt press anything other then the movement keys.

did he say he can get of the ship and just keep walking to the edge of the screen, and dont forget about layers, 2nd layer r always made so u can walk though it

Ok. Ill tell exactly howe i did it. 1st layer: Floor and walls. 2nd Layer: The bed, the table the lamp the barrle and the pots. 3rd layer: the chest, the bed side table and the stuff on the table. and for some reason i go through the walls

Stop double posting.

Also, use the search function next time as their are many topics about this already.

Check directional pass and priority aswell as passability.
Also make sure your not pressing the CONTROL key.

you hav to put walls on the 2nd layer, making them solid, remember any 1st layer items will be walkthrough
