Why would it reduce window size? What emulator are you using

VBA (VisualBoyAdvance) for mac. It does the job, but I find that several games are unable to save. It gives an error that says "Cannot find backup save" or something weird like that. (The messages are in-game, not an actual error message from the Mac or the VBA emulator.) Games that I find that do this are FFTactic Advance and FF1&2 Advance and GoldenSun2. I have to remember to Freeze state my gameplay lol.

Probably SRAM problems.

It shouldn't reduce the screen size. I use High Quality or SuperEagle at 1440x900.

It doesn't resize if I have it in full-screen. But if it's windowed, it goes from 4x to about 2x at any given filter.

Yeah, I beat the game months ago and went pretty much everywhere. I knew about the island before I even got it though.

Oh yeah. Not quite so jarring, but equally funny, in Hotshots Golf. But those are some odd games anyhow.
