The RPG Maker XP download on this site, it seems suspicious. I know you have to pay to get RPG Maker XP, so is this download illegal? If so, that's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried that it might give my comp a virus. I'm really protective of it, you see, and the download is really suspicious-looking. ;_;

You can download it for free. When you open the EXE, it asks for your owner key, if you are doing the free trial, or if you want to buy a key.

The XP downloads are trials, there's a random unofficial version, but there's lots of errors in it. It's, I suppose, a 'free' version. But I don't recommend it. It's shit.

Both XP and VX come with a 30 day trial, so you can download the program for free. However, once the trial expires you need to buy a key in order to keep using it.
