Seriously, most of my craziest posts took place around two-thousand-fuck-seven. Three or four years ago. Basic logic dictates that I'm not the same person as I was at the time. And frankly, I'm tired of being thought of as such. Crazy posts should have a statute of limitations! You cannot possibly think it's fair to criticize me for my behavior from nearly half a decade ago. DINOSAURS remember those posts, for crying out loud. I've got dirt in my yard that's younger than my worst behavior on this site. So why you still think it's OK to treat me like I'm the same asshole, is beyond me. It makes no logical sense.
I am trying my BEST with you people. I don't attack unprovoked. I merely post my question, and hope for answers. And yet you still say such mean things to me without cause. Lemme address a recent quote that has me confused:

Let me just take this time to address my two more recent comments that you actually have a legitimate reason to be angry about. The ONLY two comments you still have a LEGITIMATE reason to be angry about, and only because they were recent. One was when I read an article about google, and came on here theorizing that google was forming some kind of army and going to take over. The other was when I called a female member a "stupid cunt".
First, on Google. The truth of that post is, I never ACTUALLY believed that Google was creating an army or taking over. I looked at my own post and thought of how ridiculous it was. I think the reason I posted such a post, when I didn't believe it myself, is because I AM a little bit worried about Google venturing into so many different business areas. They're a huge corporation. They've got their own online service for everything. They're working on an OS, if they haven't finished it already. They've got a popular browser too. I just don't want my only computer options in the future to be "Google" or "Google". So in THAT sense, I don't want Google to "take over", corporately. I don't literally think they're going to "take over" with armies, but I probably went that far because subconsciously I was afraid that my actual concerns weren't significant enough to post about. So no, I never really was paranoid enough to believe that Google would conquer the world. And I apologize for the deception.
Now, on the subject of "stupid cunt". What had happened was, there was an argument between me and another person on IRC. But the argument eventually calmed down. At one point I said some things that made it
sound like I was going to re-ignite the argument, and this girl threatened to ban me if I did. I wasn't
actually going to re-ignite the argument, so I said some synonym of "relax", followed by jokingly referring to her as a "stupid cunt". No, I did not mean it. No, I was not trying to be hostile at her. I didn't think she'd take it so seriously. And you know why I didn't think she'd take it so seriously? Because being an asshole is just our CULTURE here. It's how ALL of you behave. You guys call me things like "weeaboo" all the time. (Though I'm not saying "weeaboo" is as bad as cunt. But that's not the point here.) You curse each other out as a way of saying "hi". So I assumed that was just how we do things over here. I assumed being an asshole is just the way this site works. From where I'm standing, that seems to be pretty standard!
None of you moderators lifted a finger back when biohazard was behaving his worst towards me. But if I say ONE mean thing to a female, suddenly I have to defend myself in the face of judge Anski like it's a fucking court room. You probably all thought of ME as the "sexist" for the comment I made, but in reality, you guys are the sexist ones. Letting guys get away with jokingly being dicks to other guys. But the moment a guy is jokingly a dick to a girl, suddenly we've crossed the line? You don't see her as one of us. You see her as a delicate flower that needs protecting. And in that sense, I have shown her more respect than those of you who supported her decision to ban me from the IRC. (Which Judge Anski eventually overturned.) When I want somebody banned, you tell me I'm "bawwing" and show me that stupid white face icon that hasn't been funny since 2008. Why did none of you accuse the girl of "bawwing" when she wanted ME banned? Double standard much?
And by the way, if you moderators have finally decided to actually enforce decent behavior, send me a fucking memo about it, would you? Because for the longest time, I've been waiting for you guys to do so. Acting like a bunch of hooting dick holes has always been the standard here. So don't get mad at me the moment I try to behave the exact way everybody else on this site does. I'm just trying to fit in.
And that's the issue. When I'm on my best behavior, I get berated. When I act just like you guys, I get berated. I can't win! And it's not fair. I don't believe in a revolution anymore. Granted due to your previous behavior you might not be able to get away with as much as some do, but that's a result of your own actions.

I'm in a pretty similar situation, but the difference between the two of us is that I don't care what some people on the internet that live across oceans from me think about me.
As such, I don't get attacked for sulking. Which means there's less to sulk about, and, uh, less chance I would sulk in the first place. It's cyclical: people mock you because they mock you.
And if none of this makes sense, it's 1 in the morning and I've been up since 6 in the morning.
I think everyone on RMRK have looked stupid or been wrong at least once, no one is perfect. If you think you don't "fit in" here, don't post here, but before doing that I would practise not taking everything to heart, especially from people like Biohazard.

Lots of things
In my experience, you become accepted on a forum once you let go of the past, move on, and start acting like a productive member of the community. Refraining from posting what amounts to essays on why people shouldn't hate you tends to help as well.
I'd also like to mention that most of the regulars here were/are active RPG Maker users, and contributed to the community in that regard, or they were invited here by an already established member and were thus accepted by default. I'm not sure either one applies to you.
