This is dumb :|
Lolz
Looks gay. Why would they send a ship that already sunk to sail the seas again -.-
Wikipedia says it's not a sequel. And it looks shit anyway, so meh :P
Stupid, and I'm so sick of these films. They can't come up with interesting original concepts so "let's redo one that's already been made.. only better". I think they bank on the first films popularity to carry the second one. RARELY has anything been better than the way they did it the first time.
/rant
This is why i dont go to the cinema much.
The acting is very :(
Wait, is this a real movie? Like coming out in theaters or just some stupid TV thing?
Wait, so they set sail, on the same day, on a replica of the same ship, same time, same course, everything, and they crash and sink....again?
Why didn't they just do it as a modern re-imagining, rather then trying to prissy up the story about it being an anniversary to the first Titanic?
Oh boy :')
EDIT: And if that wasn't enough, the first Titanic is being re-released in 2012 in 3D. Just....wow :')

"The film is due to be re-released in theatres in 2012 after Cameron completes its 3-D conversion."
Oh geez. The stupidity of this movie knows no bounds
Reminds me of all the poisiden remakes

Reach for the sky? :')
But yeah, Hollywood has no more ideas. I think they keep all of them at Pixar :3
Its kinda necroposting yes, but if anyone is interested in watching how bad this is, I could upload a mp4 version.
And by how bad this is, it looks like 60% of this movie is cgi
ugggh
that sounds fantastic... And by fantastic, of course, I mean that it sounds so deliciously horrible, that the Wayans brothers, Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer could feed on it.

How do you convert a 2d film into 3d?
When reality begins to look more ridiculous than satire, satire is dead.

Go back in time and make sure it's recorded in 3D. Duh.

Makes perfect sense
I love the 3D movie trailers where everything is like "WOAH I AM THROWING THIS AT YOU THROUGH THE SCREEN". It's amazingly cheesy.

If I recall correctly... Alice in Wonderland was shot in 2D and converted... but I may be wrong... (did I necro??? Nah... Just a week.)
Converting uses a stereoscopic (?) technique to overlay the original film with the half shades of pulp red and blue to double vision.
That's one way to do it, called "Anaglyph".
Yeah, not huge into the 3D scene and all that, learn somethin new every day.

Me either, but I read this article in PopSci a little while before Avatar came out that was talking about polarization and stuff. It was pretty interesting.
So uh, what's the news on this thing?
