You can post your favorite movies, the best ones you've seen and the ones you highly recommend, and discuss them briefly (your favorite scenes/actors/lines)
For me, I don't watch many movies, but I'd say the best one I have seen this year so far is Pirates 3. That movie is completely awesome. Especially when the midget comes out with a grenade launcher...that part killed our group with laughter. And Jack's mutliple personalities and his reaction to the crabs...that was classic.
I also enjoyed Spiderman 3, the effects were excellent.
School For Scoundrels.
I lied, Lucky Number Slevin
What's your favorite movie, then?

Haha, seriously?
Yep.
Hmm...probably Clerks II, I laughed pretty damn hard.
Pulp Fiction, Blues Brothers, Shawn of the Dead and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
I don't pick favorites, but Donnie Darko if I had to
I agree with Saucy, Donnie Darko was a good movie.
But, Fight club is my favorite.
Are people picking retarded movies on purpose?
Pulp Fiction didn't suck. D:
I haven't seen a TON of movies, but that is the best one I have seen.
Pulp Fiction is okay, but its fan base sucks.
Shaun of the Dead is great, though. Pat yourself on the back for that one.
EPIC LULZ.
"Oh, shit, I gotta answer this!"
"Ed! Not now! Were almost there!"
XD
Hot Fuzz was good, too.
I was the only person in the theater who laughed when the combination to the evidence locker was shown to be 999.
300, Shawshank Redemption, or Princess Mononoke (weeaboo)

Spider-man 3
CLERKS II!
Clerks > Clerks II
Clerks 2 was much more edited and cleaner than one, because it was a larger population
GHOST-BUSTERS
Hello kitty island adventure!

Yeah, I know. I just thought it was an alright movie.
TRANSFORMERS!
The Super Mario Brothers.
Best movie I've seen recently: braveheart.
"The Almighty says to stop changin' the subject and answer the fookin' question" (hard to mimic irish accent online... :P )
FFAC bitches
Advent children? that movie is awesome. Pure awesome.

Pulp Fictions. I just watched it again.

so you don't like saw movies then?
hell no
call me a freak or a wimp but no matter how much I watch that kind of stuff I always shiver at the sight of blood/guts. Even watching CSI on tv hasn't helped, with all those organs and cut-up autopsies and such... :@
oh well..to each his own as they say...if the military drafts me they'll wish they never had cuz I'd be useless in a combat situation.
I wanna watch Return of the King again...I only saw it once, in theaters...and on the gore topic, I can handle LOTR.
I love every saw movie, they scare you into loving life which is sick and twisted and awesome.
The Saw movies aren't scary. Gore is not scary. A good scary movie knows how to build up suspense, something nearly all "scary" movies lack today.

Not scary as in horror, its just the concept thats kinda gruesome, but then again it also depends if your desensititved or not.

YES! funny movie!
Some weird ass stuff happened in that. Like when the guy is rolling down the hill and he's like "ASSS YOUUUU WISSSHHH"
that's what makes it funny!
The title originally was a put-off when I heard it, but it's on my favorites list (around sixth or so but still there)
crouching tiger, hidden dragon
great but wierd
I'ts like, you look away for about 30 secs and you don't know what the hell is going on lol

Blasphemy. Fight Club is one of the best stories about revolution and how it can spiral out of control. American Beauty is the definitive movie about how people are too obsessed with material life and are oblivious to any other perspective but their own.

Dark Knight is definitely the best movie I've seen in a while.
I was actually scared when Heath was doing the first "why so serious" monologue. :x
Soooo intense.
The Joker managed to drag him out of the room at knife point (or whatever sharp thing he had) and then asked for the phone call that set off the explosion. I'd imagine either he used him as a blast shield, or just killed him. I didn't really think it was important.
Yeah, the "why so serious" monologue was pretty chilling.

Dark Knight is really good. Much better than Batman Begins, which is incredibly overrated.
For someone who doesn't go to the theaters that often, it was nice seeing Dark Knight. Finally, a movie that justifies me spending $8/ticket and then another $10 for a small popcorn and medium soda...
The best movie of all time is "The Untouchables". Any doubters might get whacked XD
Unfortunately, my favourite movie is usually related to how recently I've watched it, but whatever:
- Dark Knight
- Gladiator
- Meet the Parents
- Usual Suspects
- Reservoir Dogs
- American Beauty
- Gone Baby Gone
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
- Requiem for a Dream
- Donnie Darko
- The Exorcist
- Confessions of a Dangerous Mind
No particular order.
