Alright I'm leaving this place, this forum has lost most of it's charm over the past couple of months, and it's time for me to finally move on to .org, where the people there actually know how to use RMXP.
May as well post why I'm leaving this place.
- .org is superior in terms of RPG Talent
- Funny stuff never seems to happen anymore (Why did you leave Naphe :( )
- Too many n00bs, not enough talent
- Staff doesn't use RMXP at all (Blizzard and Deadly_Diablo are the only exceptions if I'm correct)
- Extra Access seems to only take people active in the RMRK General boards, while contributing members at the RM boards are ignored. In addition, it doesn't make sense that some people get in EA so quickly....
Anyways, that's my reasons for leaving.

That's a shame. You are honestly one of the few active members left who is good at RMXP. You will be missed. I can't blame you though. Every single one of those bullets is true.

Which part were you referring to Halo? I'm not in Extra Access, so of course I can't say for sure, but from what I've seen, I believe it to be true.

What he's trying to say when he refers to EA is that rmrk is indeed an rpgmaker forum, EA gets members with no regard to RPG maker at all. Mostly by how much a member is known, and usually one does this in spam board or with a high post count (points to me) The reason darklords post count isn't high is because he dosen't spam he is only here to help others. Check his posts THEIR MOSTLY GREAT. as the same with modern algebra, check I doubth many people know them because they do not spam at all.

I see many people on here doing small bits and bobs... But nothing like the older days rate of growth, but I guess that's cuz people are getting fed up with making things for people then once they have them they leave...
I have made LOADS of sprite requests in the past, now I make sprites only for my own use and post them here if others want to use them they can...
We need a Finished Resource section or a Resource request area open to members with a good rating, I hate making things for people who will never show up again... Or even a Resource Shop, that the makers of Resources could have their PayPal buttons in or some thing, so people can donate if they wish ?...
If we had some thing like that I would get my own WEB space and do nothing but make Tunes, Sprites, Battlers, Backgrounds, Titles, Gameovers, Sound effects... the whole lot... If each member could add a PayPal link for any help given may be more of it would happen...
I could be talking about the impossible... I often have moments of madness and tangent ramblings... But I know I would part with a couple of Quid for a Tutorial by Nouman if I was a NOOB... or a Midi by Silver for a battle... ETC.... Blah Blah... You get then idea... Nothing in this world should be free.

I don't think he's leaving because he isn't getting attention. I think he's leaving because this forum doesn't have much of an emphasis on RM. Like he said, only two mods use RM. I think what los suggested is actually a pretty good idea. Some kind of thing like Extra Access but for the RM section would be nice.

What's the problem with posting the things I don't like about this community? A couple people seemed to agree with me, I don't see why anyone should get pissed about it.
It seems more people are bothered by the fact you aren't leaving after announcing you were leaving.
