Title: [Music] Re-Perplexus
Post by: Blizzard on March 25, 2007, 12:54:54 PM
So... I've got some pretty nice "ammount" of inspiration yesterday and I was able to almost finish a once barely started song.
It's supposed to be a remix version of a much older song. I mainly did it, because I liked the bassline. ::) Anyway, here's the song. I've also put up the old version for you to compare. Since I don't consider it finished yet, any suggestions how to make it better (except the overfading parts that were obviously poorly made)?
And yeah... Keep in mind that I was doing the entire master mix down on my head phones instead of using speakers, so I might have messed it up a little bit. (-_-')

Blizzard - Re-Perplexus (4:25 on 192kbps = 6.365.771 bytes = 6.07MB) (http://www.sendspace.com/file/510o2y)
Blizzard - Perplexus (5:41 on 128kbps = 5.464.619 bytes = 5.21MB) (http://www.sendspace.com/file/9sg1dp)

BTW, I have listened to it 14 times in a row yesterday AFTER rendering it to an mp3. := Actually it's odd that I listened to a song only so few times after rendering it... := := :=

EDIT:
Added the finished version. It's way better than the one before. ;D

It's a great song, but the fact that it was made by you totaly ruins that.
Lol jk, its good.

The more often I listen to it, the more I dislike it. I seriously need to improve it.

FruityLoops like always. Yeah, it's not that bad, but I can improve it. ;D

EDIT:
I was working on it yesterday again and I improved it a lot. I didn't need to do much on it. ;D Try out the finished version, you will surely like it more than the one I posted a few days ago. (~_^)d

I easily prefer Perplexus, it's so much better. Although Re-Perplexus has more going on and is better quality Perplexus gives off a cool feel. Together they take 11 MB of my iPod. Oh and these two are probably your best songs - so catchy and mellow dramatic. Dammit - did you start good? :D

*gets jealous of Blizzard's skill*

;D

Although the stuff you make wouldn't involve the same work as IDM. Now that'd be awesome - you making something other than Trance. Not gonna happen? Dammit. At least I tried. :tpg:
