RPG Maker Xp has stopped responding...help please

as the subject says evertime i try to load RPG Maker XP it just comes up with the stopped responding thing without loading anything am useing Vista please help

did you do a search?

I suspect updating your video and audio drivers might help some here.  If that's not the cause, I know the question's been asked often, and there have been other suggestions.

yeah i did a sreach only found one preson with the same problem and he got it working the only problem he never posted how he got it working also i already updated the drivers for my computer still not working

okay ... I've done a little searching and found a few suggestions.

Firstly, is this the first time you've tried to run RMXP on your machine, or has it always worked ok until now?

Make sure your program is set to run in XP Compatibility Mode (right-click on the .exe file - not on the shortcut, go to Compatibility, select XP Compatibility), and turn on Run as Administrator.

If that doesn't work, take a look through these:

thank for the help but i got it working now some resson it wanted the computer to be reseted (i should of tryed that frist i know <_<) anyway thank for the help
